August 4, 2020 - Hey folks, happy to finally be able to share my rendition of the iconic Magic the Gathering card: Force of Will. (From the Double Masters MTG set) Here is 10 minutes of behind the scenes process art, narrated by yours truly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW4wbHCPEDE&feature=youtu.be The painting was done almost entirely in FW Acrylic ink, using Robert Simmons brushes and Nikko nib/dip pens. The surface is Ampersand primed cradled panel. Let me tell you, as a MTG artist who played the game in the 90's, before I ever started working for them, this was a total honor to do.
