“Hon, we need to get a sturdier coffee table!”

Wow, great review and great book. The prelims and alternative paintings are a treat … and a really well done title sequence 😉

          Nice!

Awesome looking book and a great review, now I want that book really badly. Too bad it doesn't seem to be available through any of the European book stores.

Great review! I can't wait to get the book. It's really a good idea to buy these books. I'm kicking myself for not getting some of my favorite artists books when I had the chance. Now when I want a book of a certain artist like for example John Berkey, I can't afford it because they aren't printing it anymore and I'd have to shell out like 250 dollars to get it now from another seller.
Bob Peak was an amazing artist and that Roller Ball poster was so cool to me when I was little. I was too little to the original movie at the time but i still remember seeing the cover when I was little and thinking “WHAT IS THAT!” haha Testament to a great artist.

I saw a lot of these paintings in person at an exhibit hosted by his son at the Director guild in Hollywood. It was awesome to see these paintings full size because you could really see his technique. Seeing all his stuff together like that really made me realize how much his style kind of defined the 70's and early 80's for me.

That's really cool! Was the exhibit tied in with the release of the book?
I was completely unaware of it.

          I know the feeling.
I have several books in my collection that I paid less than $40 for, are only a few years old, and already people are charging nearly a $1000 for some of them on Amazon.
I also have a bunch I missed out on, and still kick myself for.

Hopefully, I'll be able to share some great books with you guys BEFORE they get crazy unaffordable.

Check Stuart Ng, Jaana. Stuart makes a lot of trips to EU, and he may be able to arrange international shipping for you. Dropping him an email certainly wouldn't hurt.
