Working Through Loss and Grief (As a Creative)

Most of us who don’t have creative job, we have the luxury of “phoning it in” if we are going through something personal. Doesn’t make it right, but that’s how it is. If you make your living by writing or drawing or whatever, not being all there has to be tricky. So how does the death of a loved one affect your ability to create? Does grieving change your outlook on making art?

My sincere thanks to Matthew Childers (Moonhunters, Adventures in Pulp) and Wilfredo Torres (Jupiter’s Circle, The Shadow) for opening up on this subject and answering these profound questions.
