December 6, 2024 - I’m currently in a wild end of year deadline crunch working on multiple projects at the same time, so I thought I’d just share some literal progress for one of the things I’m working on! This piece is for a group show at Beinart Gallery next year, and I’m both shocked and delighted at how well it’s going! This is one of those rare (for me) pieces where I could clearly visualise the image before starting, but it’s still proving to be an interesting exploration of various techniques and materials. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been slowly refining my traditional art process, building upon previous experiments with incorporating a digital drawing and using ultra matte medium.
