Artemis II is Go For Launch

January 21, 2026 - NASA is well into their preparations to launch Artemis II, the first manned space flight to go to the moon in over 50 years. The rocket has been rolled out to pad 39B and, if all tests go well, will launch as early as February 6th. And I’ll be there to witness this next great adventure in human history. I’ve spent the last year working closely with the crew to design their mission patch. It’s an amazing part of my career as an artist to find myself on a zoom call laughing and joking with four NASA astronauts. If you told 14-year-old me, riveted to the family television set during the Apollo 11 mission, that I'd be here, I think I could have flown to the moon on my own energy.
