Fischer Paints- Spark Rupture for Magic the Gathering: March of the Machine: Aftermath

Taking a 10 minute deep dive into my latest for Magic The Gathering: Spark Rupture. Sticking with the airbrush underpainting on this one. But more importantly, I feel this one unlocked the dormant Abstract Coolness a lot of my earlier MTG work was known for. Prior to this one I began to feel I was getting a bit literal with everything, and this one brought me back into more ambiguity. My thanks to art director Vic Ochoa, for reminding me how cool this sandbox is to play in. And there are a slew of paintings to come that kept this ball rolling.
