I just got home moments ago, after a very long trip back from Kansas City where I was attending Spectrum Fantastic Art Live! The event was absolutely amazing, but more on that later. I can barely manage to keep my eyes open right now, and writing a recap of the event in my current condition would NOT do it justice.

So instead, I am going to leave you all with a beautiful little film by Tatsuyuki Tanaka. Tanaka is a Japanese artist, well known for his art book ‘Cannabis Works‘.

I own an unhealthy amount of art books, and whenever a friend browses through my collection looking for something new, I almost immediately hand them my copy of ‘Cannabis Works’. It’s an absolute gem of a book, and is easily one of my favorites out of a thousand. If you can manage to snag a copy, I highly recommend it. In it, you’ll find concept art from the film above, as well hundreds of other amazing works of art, like the one below.
