Here’s a piece of concept art I did for the film “Jack the Giant Killer”. Much of the work I’ve done over the last couple years can’t be shown. I saw that this one was released on line a while back.

Very nice! It's a shame you're not allowed to show more of your concept work, but I am a huge admirer of your watercolors. What size brush are you using? And are you working wet into wet? Or dry brush or both?
How do you feel about not being able to show your work? Do you feel like showing is a big part of your growth these days?

Hi Sara, wet into wet. Big brush (sorry I don't have the size on hand). I can show the work from movies that have come out. Just need to update my website..
Hi Dom, I'm fine with it. It will eventually be seen if I think it worthy. No, showing is not a big part of my growth. It doesn't really have that much to do with it.

I remember the first time I saw one of your watercolors. Rhino. They are just beautiful. You had quite a few at Nucleus. Hope there are a few left over there when I go there in May. I would love to see some of your work in person.
You're a such an icon for me (sorry, I can't think of a more encompassing word right now), when it concerns to art and fantasy man (and the relation between the two, of course). – what an elegance you have, what a sensibility, what a touch you have, that makes everything that you create looks so much yours. Just superb!
And your personal approach on watercolors just makes me want to deliver myself totally to the media, instead of just trying a bit once in a while.

Wow, very nice piece! I like how balanced it is. The giants almost look as if they were grown over millions of years, like the stone mountains in the back 😉
Do you use photoshop for concept art?
It's a shame you can't show anything new, but I for one would love to see some of your older pieces. There's a few magic card illustrations of yours that can't be found on the internet in any reasonable size, and I'm sure you have more not-so-new pieces that can't be seen online. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would enjoy seeing a post with your older stuff. Your stuff is awesome, please, don't stop posting it on the web. Ever.
