VISIONS OF WHENCE VOL. II

I put together my first sketchbook in 2008. That first one was a random mess of stuff. A hodgepodge. But I really liked doing it. So in 2009 I made another. And then next year another. I liked the sort of β€œbenchmark” aspect of it all. The thought that, this is 2010...

you don't sound very excited about it :/ i'd really love to know more about this process, or dialogue between you and the movie officials, or background thoughts for what you were going for because these are excellent. i haven't seen the movie yet but if these are the concepts i wouldn't mind.

I can't even wonder why and i say the fuckin why, artists ideas and visualisations are so underrated… I mean our imagination is at the base of every fuckin videogame, movie, anime or portrait or music or track sculpture or whatever you like to name it… WE artists and our thoughts are the base of human brain. we are the true genius innovators evolution evilotion involution of everything i want more space!!!! Justin keep going your way you have someone thinking like you and with you. remember that! For yoiu and every other “aritst” that read this…

Some of the fairy tale effects are marvelous; but the odyssey from darkness to light is unduly long and sloggy, and Stewart, with her contemporary edge, seems to be acting in the wrong era.
    Nice painting s though. πŸ™‚
