Scott Fischer paints ‘Force of Will’

Tuesday, August 4th, 2020

Hey folks, happy to finally be able to share my rendition of the iconic Magic the Gathering card: Force of Will. (From the Double Masters MTG set) Here is 10 minutes of behind the scenes process art, narrated by yours truly.

The painting was done almost entirely in FW Acrylic ink, using Robert Simmons brushes and Nikko nib/dip pens. The surface is Ampersand primed cradled panel.

Let me tell you, as a MTG artist who played the game in the 90’s, before I ever started working for them, this was a total honor to do.
