Many of our readers may recall a interview that Lauren Panepinto did a while back with Loic Zimmerman about his documentary, ‘A Solitary Mann’, an intimate look at the Artist, Jeremy Mann. The video (which has been out for almost 2 years now) has always been incredibly reasonably priced at a mere $5, a sentiment that is very dear to Muddy Colors, as we find that videos targeted to artists and students tend to be prohibitively expensive. But Loic Zimmerman has one upped himself, and recently decided to make the video public and completely free for everyone to watch!

The documentary is meant to be just that, a documentary. It is not a tutorial, or a live demo, although you will get to see Jeremy paint quite a bit. The film, instead, delves more into the life of the artist and attempts to explore the motivation behind his passion and skill. It’s a good watch for anyone who wants a deeper look into the thought processes of this incredible artist.
