‘Flutter’, Video Tutorial Part 2: Painting on Copper

Tuesday, May 15th, 2018

As promised, this month we have part two of my oil on copper painting ‘Flutter’. If you missed the first video http://www.muddycolors.com/2018/04/flutter-part-1-a-drawing-tutorial-video/ I walked you through the drawing and planning part of the process. This month, I will oil paint on the copper and then attack (engrave) that copper with sharp pointy things and Play-Doh containers.

(You thought I was kidding about the Play-Doh, didn’t you?)

The video here on MC doesn’t want to work for me but had a look at it on your YouTube channel … man oh man! Another stunning piece, mesmerizing combined with the reflections of the copper and that frame. Simply outstanding!

The video is once again done very well, good explanations of every step and task, with great humor to keep it on the light side.

Thank you so much for another awesome experience!!!
