  • Make sure the art you link to is in jpg/gif format, and between 800-2000 pixels on the longest side. (If you link us to a PSD, a ridiculously large file, or a non-public file, your entry will be discarded.)
  • Make sure you are capable of covering your own travel expenses before applying.
  • You have to be 21 years of age or older to attend.

The Creative Arts Conference – June 2026

Back in 2020, I helped to put on a workshop called the Fantastic Arts Conference with my wife, Shari, and Dan Dos Santos, Justin and Annie Stegg Gerard. We had some great faculty who joined us. I have had lots of requests to do something similar again, but with less...

I’m sure this is a silly question, but how do you share a link to an image? I’m assuming it’s not as simple as the copy/paste of website addresses.

    • Dan dos Santos

It is, in fact. Just make sure you’re pasting a link to the image, and not the whole website or a page with multiple images. Just right click on the image you want to gets it’s unique url.

    Hello,

When editing my response if I clicked submit, is that considered two submissions or an edit? I was confused after I just did it and want to make sure I’m not disqualified.

    • Dan dos Santos

The submit button just resaves it, provided you were actually editing your previous entry, and didn’t create a whole new blank form.

Is IMGUR ok for linking the work samples?

    • Dan dos Santos

It doesn’t matter where it’s hosted, so long as it’s a link to a single image.

Dumb question, but my image files are usually png, would that be against the guidelines?

Were the winners ever announced? I saw that they would be announced on 4/20 but didn’t see a specific article dedicated to it or see the winners presented on the IMC website. Were they posted yet or no?

We extended the deadline for applications, and thusly the announcement as well. Results should be up in a few days.

Interested in knowing this as well.

      • Dan dos Santos

We should be posting the results shortly, likely the next day or so. Bear with us!
