I really love all Stan's videos. In this one I especially like his emphasizing these modeling principles are subject to the artist's judgment and intent.
This is the best, clearest explanation of modeling I've ever heard. Especially the bit about center light vs. highlight, and using the cast shadow to describe the form it's on not the object creating it. Mind blown, after hella books, classes, and an art degree. Sometimes it's the small things that slip through the learning curve.
