Thank you for sharing this. I've come so close to quitting on so many occasions because I didn't think I had it in me but I'll keep fighting the fight.

Yes, thank you for this. I've quit many times (a year being the longest) but have always picked up again. Accept and appreciate your current work, aspire to push it further next time.
Have this 'client' at the moment: I'm afraid he may not be getting what he wants, because I'm not entirely satisfied. Yet he is and he lets me know this … and it helps.

Perfect comment. You know when you do something and you can see that it is not as good as you want it to be that you're halfway there. At least you can see the faults and know it's not what you want. I'd way rather be able to see all the flaws, imperfections, improvements and ideas in my work then be someone who thinks their work is the best around (when it clearly is not).
Thank You for keeping this truth before my eyes…it get discouraging continually putting myself out there. I have to have faith in myself to pull it through and every little bit helps…dierdra

haha. a friend/classmate and I were talking about art/our classes/techniques/etc. He said that it was art or die for him. I agreed that I felt the same. Going through this”phase” is worth than death. in my humble opinion. I can't wait to be born 🙂
