The great Italian comics artist and illustrator Sergio Toppi passed away several weeks ago. Posting the following artworks is a way to remember him.

Arrivederci signor Toppi. A truly talented man, a great influence for many.
In the same year we lost Moebius and Toppi… so sad 🙁
I've been looking around for a while to see if he had a book of his collected work but can't seem to find anything. Anybody know of one?

I'm not familiar with his work. But the way he used form and boxed his work outside of the conventional square canvas is inspiring.
Didn't know his work, but looks like it have been a great influence for Simon Bisley, don't you think?

It's sad Dibumac but it's so, that's how life goes you wouldn't know when our time comes he left a precious legacy with his art, He Was lucky for being able to do that till the end. RIP Master
