My art tip this month is: Creating Textures with Unusual Tools

I love putting all kinds of textures into my paintings. And I don’t just use a brush and painting knife to do so. I have a stable of unusual tools for creating unique textures and am happy to share some of those tools with you in this video.

    Sandpaper also works great with scratch board art. Low grit can take off large surfaces of ink, and high grit r can soften the intensity of the black.

    And I’ve rubbed canvas artwork on concrete for a distressed look before.
