You can go to Parka Blogs and it will direct you to Basheer or I think you can still get it direct from the artist's rep. I'm waiting for the price to come down, probably won't but too rich even for a rich artist like me. I've seen the books and they are incredible. By the way, thanks for the heads up about Cannabis Works Dan. Bought it, love it.
You can go to the publisher site here > http://superani.taobao.com/ and e-mail Kim Jung-Gi's partner David at superani58@gmail.com. David will tell you the cost plus shipping and you can send him the money via paypal. This is how I ordered my copy of the 2011 sketchbook but it's expensive!
The price of the book is fair but the shipping and handling was more than the book itself, and for me its just the principle of the thing. They need to get a distributor. If I can order electronics from around the world for 5 bucks shipping, they can get their shipping costs below 80 bucks.

After a discussion with FedEx about the cost of a rather expensive shipment of a small painting out of the country it turns out a lot of the larger companies have deals with shipment carriers. Small guys have to pay full price and that's why you see such high shipping from smaller and solo operations. But I'm not arguing that $80 to ship a book is a bit on the high side, but it was cheaper than the single panel I shipped myself.
I have never seen this artist before, but after watching the demonstration. I'm at a loss for words, Thanks for sharing.

A friend of mine has one of his sketchbooks. Totally mind blowing. I had no idea he drew this large though. The tiny size of the book sort of has this implicit effect in making you think that all those sketches were made in a pocket sketchbook or something. Thanks for sharing!
To understand the high cost of shipping, just note that the book is around 3.3kg. It's even heavier that Peter de Seve's A Sketchy Past. But shipping will definitely be cheaper if they had a distributor with those shipping deals mentioned above.
This guy blows my mind. Just like Markus said, huge visual library and I'm sure his muscle memory is phenomenal! What a great inspiration to get better at draftsmanship!
One thing I'll say about the shipping, I ordered the 2007 Sketchbook on a Saturday, and it got to me on Wednesday. From Korea to Texas in three business days ain't that bad. I prefer the 2011 Sketchbook, just because it's a massive tome, but both are very good. I believe Stuart Ng is supposed to get more copies in within the next couple weeks.
