The hardcover version of Telling Stories: Norman Rockwell from the Collections of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg is on sale on Amazon. Originally $65, it is currently marked down to just $9 ! I don’t know anything about the book, as I just purchased it myself. But at that price, what’s to lose? $9 is kind of crazy for a 250 page book.

That is a crazy good deal! The book has lots of seldom seen illustrations including some that show more of an NC Wyeth influence.

Yeah, I saw that, but am willing to gamble on it anyways.
Like Andrew mentioned above, I know that this exhibit had a lot of paintings that are not seen in any other Rockwell books. For that alone, I think it's worth it.
Perhaps I'll post a flip through for you guys when it arrives. That way, you can decide for yourself.

The book is TOTALLY worth it. It's a collection from the exhibit, so obviously there are a not a zillion images.
but what images are there, are usually full page, sometimes double page spreads. Plus, the reprodcutions are all taken from the original paintings, and not the covers, like many other Rockwell books.
It's an -excellent- book!
I have no idea what that guy on Amazon was complaining about.
