It’s been over a dozen years since his passing in 2010, but interest in the art and life of Grand Master Frank Frazetta is still going strong.

Taschen has just released “The Fantastic Worlds of Frank Frazetta,” a massive 11.4 x 15.6 in., 10.74 lb (!), 468 page collection of his work in both hardcover and deluxe slipcased editions, edited by the renowned Dian Hanson; Magic: The Gathering featured Frazetta’s art in their “Secret Lair” initiative; Frazetta Girls has launched an ambitious line of comics (including an ongoing series based on “Death Dealer”); and Forbes just ran an effusive essay under the lengthy headline of “Art Titan Frank Frazetta’s Legacy Keeps Growing With New Projects And A Massive Retrospective.”

Since the Boca Grande, Florida, Frazetta Art Museum is scheduled to open for visitors in February and March, I thought I’d take the opportunity to share some Frazetta-themed videos. The first is a talk with Frank himself from the early 1990s when he was creating art for Bridge Publications/Writers of the Future.

The second is an interview with Frank’s granddaughter, Sara Frazetta, talking about the new Taschen book along with her other Frazetta Girls projects:

Third is Sara and artist Patrick J. Jones chatting about all things Frazetta and art:

And finally there’s this entertaining reminiscence of meeting Frank and Ellie by artist and art teacher Jeff Watts:

I’m sure there’s more to come. Enjoy!
