CHARACTER DESIGN, PT 2 – THE PAPER DOLL BASE

January 15, 2022 - Last session I started gathering ideas for my occultist. Now I'm going to start in on a set of sketches. First thing is, I need to get into the mood. I love to find music that feels appropriate for the character. For this guy, I'm starting with this: https://youtu.be/-C7gjtI_rv8 I felt I'd gotten a good direction going last session when I hit on those banyan robes, and I want to really play with the shape of the robe. One of the ways I like to make that possible is to work paper-doll style, and refine the character's body and face a little more before dressing them.
