A trailer for the upcoming film ‘Snow White and the Huntsman‘ has finally been released, and I must say… it looks pretty fracking cool!
Fellow Muddy, Justin Sweet, was a concept artist on this film. As was guest blogger, Jeff Simpson. I hope some of their sensibilities make it through to the final film.

Trailer looks great indeed! Although trailers are often found to be misleading, guess we'll have to wait and see.
One of my life models was a fighting extra for this film, he told me the whole thing looks excellent from 'the inside', much 'storming the castle gates' and so on – sounded really cool… small world eh? 🙂
Is that vampire girl as Snow White?
Stewart as Snow White is a bit of a turn off for me… but I'll probably see it anyway because the art looks stunning all around 🙂
I may fall flat on my face with this statement. But, I think this has the potential to be great and a nice little stop gap to the Hobbit!

I just watched Snow White and the Huntsman and really enjoyed the visual effects and action sequences! It actually got me thinking about how much storytelling and graphics matter in games too. I recently came across a guide on choosing the best PC games, and it was really helpful in picking games that have both great storylines and stunning visuals. Definitely worth checking out for anyone who enjoys immersive experiences like this movie!
