Comparing yourself to others is inevitable when you’re trying to achieve something in an established field. And with that comparison can come self-doubt.

“Look at all the incredible people who have gone before me. I’m not …worthy.”

That’s the lie we tell ourselves and that’s why Imposter Syndrome is such a monster. It can paralyze you, make you second guess yourself, and totally impede your progress as artist. But why is feeling like a phony or like you don’t belong such a pervasive mindset among creatives?
