I’ve re-recorded my 2025 Comicon Lecture. For those who attended, this is your chance to revisit the material—this time without the technical hiccups or the abrupt cut-off at the end of the hour. We can finally take our time and dig into the ideas properly.

My goal is simple: to help you put language and labels to the instincts and habits you already use as an artist—and for those still hesitating at the edge, to give you the nudge (or push) you need to dive in and just make art.

There are endless ways to create imagery. We should never be afraid to begin, to fail, to try again, and to embrace the skills we have right now. You don’t need to wait for some imagined “perfect moment” or “perfect skillset.” My hope is that this talk helps you look past what you feel is missing or broken, and instead see the possibilities in what you do have—because that’s where the real magic starts.

Leave your thoughts in the comments, share your experiments, and most importantly—start making the art you’ve always wanted to make. Not someday. Now.

Enjoy the content, and I’ll see you next month.
